RSVP/Registration

All students in the Class of 2022 must register for Match Day using the link below, even if you are planning on not attending celebrations in person. Additionally, an accurate guest registration is imperative! At this time, students will be allowed to bring up to (1) guest and can request (1-2) additional guest tickets. Before registering, please read COVID requirements below. 

Ticket registration is open starting February 4th. The deadline to register is February 16th at 5:00 p.m., EST. There will be NO MODIFICATIONS after this deadline.  There will be no exceptions for late registration and guest tickets cannot be transferred between students. Tickets are not distributed in advance. They will be available upon check-in at the Motor City Casino Hotel - Grand Ballroom. Students/Guests attend free of charge.

Extra Ticket Requests

If there are enough tickets available, we will fulfill all requests for additional tickets based on the answer you provided in the RSVP/Registration. However, as there is a finite number of tickets, there are no guarantees that you will receive (1-2) additional tickets and it will depend on the total number of RSVP’s that we receive. 

If we cannot accommodate all requests for additional tickets, there will be an extra ticket lottery that will begin on February 16th.  In this situation, Student Senate will attempt to accommodate each request by fulfilling as many requests for 1 additional ticket first and then moving to requests for 2nd additional ticket until we have reached capacity as described below.   

To promote fairness, extra tickets will be given out using a random name generator. We will first distribute 1 extra ticket to as many as we can, and then move to fulfilling requests for a 2nd extra ticket in the same manner as long as tickets last. You will be notified if your request for extra tickets was granted on Friday, February 18 to allow for adequate planning time for travel plans. 

  • Ex: If you request 2 extra tickets, we will first attempt to give you 1 and then come back to your name for the 2nd if there are tickets still available.

COVID requirements

All participants (students + guests) must meet all four (4) of these requirements in order to gain entry into the Ballroom.

  1. Provide Valid Identification

  2. Masking - All participants are required to be masked throughout the event.

  3. Daily Screener - All participants are required to complete the Daily Screener on the day of the event

  4. Proof of Vaccination: All participants are required to provide proof of vaccination and the booster. Proof can be in the form of a vaccination record or a photograph of your vaccination record. There are no vaccine exemptions allowed for this event.
