President · Elizabeth (Liz) Kody

elizabeth.kody@med.wayne.edu

Liz is a lifelong resident of Michigan, who has been using the same fun fact about herself since birth: she is a triplet. But otherwise, exploring the outdoors and baking blueberry muffins are some of her main hobbies. She once attended an art class, and now likes to paint and do paper-mache in her free time.

Vice President · Pooja Polamarasetti

pooja.polamarasetti@med.wayne.edu

A huge wolverine (Go BLUE!!), Pooja honestly has too much Michigan school spirit for someone who could count the number of games she’s been to on one hand; she’s currently accumulating WSU gear to add to the university branded crewneck collection. Pooja has lived in Michigan basically her whole life but loves traveling to new places, mostly to take pictures and try new foods—or to take pictures of the foods. On the weekends, you can find her dancing (only on the dance floor) or singing (only in the car/shower). She also loves reading but often finds herself rereading the Harry Potter series despite an ambitiously growing book list. Pooja always prioritizes her 8 hours of sleep over studying, so if you catch her up late, it’s probably because she’s binge watching a new Netflix show. She’s always looking for recommendations for shows that aren’t too addicting, though, so she can stick to watching a normal amount per day.

Treasurer · Zoha Qureshi

zoha.qureshi@med.wayne.edu

Born and raised in the wonderful state of Michigan, Zoha is a proud user of the word "ope" and a fierce defender of calling that fizzy, carbonated drink "pop" (despite never calling it that herself…ope). She got a public policy degree from the University of Michigan in 2019, which she will remind you of any opportunity she gets. Speaking of, Go Blue! When she's not busy with her main gig, Zoha likes to read books (aka, re-read Harry Potter), play with the Nintendo Switch, or attempt to work out. Zoha also serves various other prestigious roles, such as wannabe Jeopardy contestant, Instagram punny caption creator, and amateur henna artist.

Andrew is the 2nd oldest among his 3 other amazing sisters and comes from a Lebanese family. Growing up in Ann Arbor, MI, he truly symbolizes a kid from the Midwest – but no, he does not put ranch on pizza (seriously!?). As an avid U of M fan and attending the institution for college, he loves watching and playing sports, but if he finds out that you support *the Ohio State University teams, he may or may not talk to you again. All jokes aside, he is a believer in Christ and holds his Orthodox Christian faith near his heart and strives to follow Jesus each day. Andrew loves being outdoors, or indoors watching movies – he could talk about Star Wars or Lost for hours. He loves listening to different kinds of music, but once the calendar reaches early November, you will only hear 100.3 WNIC playing on his radio because Christmas time is his favorite time of year and he doesn’t want to wait for Thanksgiving.

Jonah grew up in Portland, Oregon, where he was coerced into liking craft beer, indie music and bougie coffee shops. When not engaging with hipsters that wear beanies in the summer, he’s either cooking, baking, gaming, or (most likely) studying. He’s an avid Portland Trail Blazers fan, so feel free to say nice things (and only nice things) about his favorite NBA team.

Jack is a son of the City of Dreams - Toledo, Ohio - where the rivers run gold and the sun never sets. However, in the interest of picking good over evil, he left Ohio for the great state of Michigan in junior high. He attended the University of Michigan where he majored in useless Michigan Football trivia and minored in being disappointed every season. Outside of the classroom and clinic, Jack likes to spend his free time showing off his skills in the bowling alley or golf course. And by showing off skills, I mean blaming the wind, slippery terrain, and poor equipment on his downfalls. If you see him around, give him a big “Asuh, dude".
